I'M GOING TO GIVE IT TO YOU STRAIGHT.
I've decided to write this blog to centralize different internet marketing tools I find along the way. If I come across something good or bad, I'll let you know in detail on my squidoo lenses. Nothing against blogger, I just think that making pretty posts on squidoo is easier to do. Maybe I'll change my mind after playing around on blogger for awhile, but, for now, you'll have to hop over to my lenses (squidoo for blog) to read the full reviews.
NO PROGRAM IS 100% COMPLETE
There. I said it. There are marketing gurus slapping their heads at my honesty. It's a secret they don't want you to know, because they all say that their system is the end all, be all of internet marketing and is the las program you will ever need. (Until they come out with theirnext, cutting edge program, that is.)
The thing is, no program will give you everything that there is to know about internet marketing. For starters, it would be impossible. If there were a team of a thousand people working on the difinitive guide on how to market on the internet, search engine optimization, writing and selling ebooks, clickbank, and on and on, they would literally never finish. Not to mention that each author will give you redundant information which would have to be combed through to create this mythical, comprehensive course. Naturally, by then, the information will be dated if not downright obsolete.
SO SHOULD YOU SPEND MONEY ON THESE PROGRAMS?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Sorry, but that's the best answer there is. EVERY program will have something of value to offer you. They all will have new information, a new twist, something that you can use to make yourself money. Sometimes, they will have a tool to use that you've never heard of before. You have to look at it the same way I look at buying a buying card.
For example, I buy a membership to Barnes and Noble every year. I think it gets me 20% off all of my purchases. It costs me $20. The question I first asked myself when I originally purchased the card was: Will I get my money back? Looking at a stack of a dozen books that I was planning to buy that day, the answer was, clearly, yes. Anything after that was savings (profit).
So, whether you're looking at a $1000 course or a $27 tool, you need to ask yourself, "Will I make my money back?" If yes, then the product/service/tool is worth the money. If not, then don't waste your money. I'll try to give you honest reviews of different products that I come across and point you in the direction if you think that it would be worthwhile.
HERE'S HOW THIS BLOG WILL WORK
I'm going to post tips here as I come across them. No charge. Just a guy trying to figure out the best way to market online. If you find one of my tips effective, let me know. Also, feel free to post things that you come up with that you think would be helpful to anyone viewing this site.
Also, as I said before, I'll point you in the direction of programs and tools that I've reveiwed so that you can make your own assessment of the various programs that I've come across. Again, feel free to give your opinions of the different products so that we can all benefit from each other's experiences and opinions.
Click on the titles to read my full reviews. If the programs sound interesting from these blurbs, I've also provided links so that you can go drectly to the site.
So, without further ado, let's dig in!!!
CURRENT REVIEWS
SCAM ALERT!!! howtobookbusiness.com, aka, From Hobby to Empire
OK. I was a little hard on this guy. I've apologized to Kevin Riley on another post already. He's actually got a pretty comprehensive program focusing on creating, marketing, and selling ebooks. Primarily writing about your interests, but also selling PLRs (private label rights). Good website. Decent pesentation. Very good program.

Is it Racist to Sell Black Folks Guide to Making Big Money on the Internet?
This title's a little confusing. It's not racist to sell black folks a guide to making money, that's the actual title of the course. That's right. The title is Black Folks Guide to Making Money on the Internet.
I guess that's OK. I personally have a problem with somebody focusing on race to market anything, from music to self-help. If they were talking about sickle cell anemia, fine. I guess that doesn't apply to white folk. But the guide is actually a good place to start for anybody. Lee Green gives solid advice for somebody starting out in internet marketing. It's also used by some black organization to help to educate their members. I didn't get too far into that, as I think that I could not be a member. The actual site can be found here.
Be careful when thinking about getting Overnight Membership Site.
Overnight membership site is a different type of internet marketing. It is something that most courses don't cover, as it seems like hard work. Basically, you set it up so that people subscribe to you and your information that you provide on a weekly, monthly, or whatever basis.
Before you skip this one, think about it. Basically, memberships create residual income. It's income that you can count on month after month. And you don't have to come up with original content. You can use PLR to give to your members. If you charge people $12 a month, buy a PLR for $7 and send it out, you only need one person to get your money back.
Check out my review on this one. It's pretty detailed, but the actual page is chock full of ideas and information. You can find it here: overnightmembershipsite.com.
BannerCloaker
I'll be completly honest. I don't completely get this one. I don't use banners, but if you do, I think that this would be a neat little tool. Basically, when you scroll over a banner, rather than just showing the website, you can but a little message in the dialogue box. (I'm not sure if that's the right term.) It also protects your affiliate marketing link so that people can't steal your commissions from you.
There are a couple of videos on the website, so if you use banners in your marketing campaigns, check out their site, as I think that it would be a good tool to have in your belt. bannercloaker.com
Secret Black Hat Marketing
If you're a cutthroat internet marketer, this is probably a good prgram for you. Will you get arrested if you use these techniques? Probably not. Sued? Possibly. Kicked out of your favorite search engine if caught? Most definitely. However, if you're willing to take the risk, more power to you. Secret Black Hat Marketing
The Scam of Options Trading Pro
I included this one because I don't really have anywhere else to put it. While technically not an internet marketing site, it is about making money online, so I thought you may be interested. This one's a long course. It teaches you how to make options trading into a business, rather than a shot in the dark.
Years ago, I got burned by something similar. Spent about a hundred bucks on a 170 page book that was full of mysteries that I could not comprehend. For the full story of my strife, click on the link above. If you want to see if this is something that you're interested in, click here. However, I strongly urge you to read my review first.
